The Author

       God has blessed Lynn Marie with the privilege of speaking at retreats, seminars, and programs before women throughout the world.  Her husband, Doug, served 22 years in the military.  The Gault family has lived in 12 different places including two years in Korea, and six years in Germany. Lynn Marie and her husband have lived in California since 1999.  Through it all, Lynn Marie has kept journals, especially chronicling the incredible faithfulness of God shown in the midst of many unique and challenging experiences.  Lynn Marie's life verse can be found in Isaiah 33:6  "And He shall be the stability (faithfulness, sure foundation) of your times..."

      Lynn Marie has joyfully served in women's ministries for the over 40 years, of which 14 years was serving as Director of Women's Ministry at then First Baptist Church of Elk Grove.  Her passion is to draw women into a closer, more intimate relationship with the Lord.  In 2018, Lynn Marie was called to expand her professional ministry to include pastoral care, creating programs and providing training to care for members of the local church as well as reaching out to those in need in the local community.  Lynn Marie served as the Pastoral Care Pastor on staff at Creekside Church of Elk Grove until 2022. 

      Lynn Marie's commitment to the Lord is followed by her commitment to her family.  Doug and Lynn Marie have been married for 48 years--another testimony to God's faithfulness!  Her three children, Katy, Jeremy, and Joshua are married and busy raising four lovely grandchildren.

  Lynn Marie's hobbies include: travel and studies in languages/cultures, Zumba, playing the piano, and reading a good book.
